TREYC ‘BIG BATTY’ COHEN HAS SECRET MANAGEMENT DEAL!
Apparently X Factor contestant Treyc Cohen has a secret management deal and has released a single which is just awful…read more to hear it!
The singer, who was chosen as Cheryl Cole’s wildcard act in last night’s show, allegedly began working with Birmingham-based Ajoupa Records in October last year after she failed to make it past the Judges’ Houses stage of the show.
According to the News of the World, Cohen signed with agent Helen Priestley at Artimis Music Management in November and released ‘A Time To Be Heard’ in December.
Stu Perry, who co-wrote the single, said: “It’s a total fraud. The X Factor is making it seem like Treyc’s coming from nowhere and desperately trying to make it big.
“But she’s already in the system, with a management deal and a record on release. They’re trying to hush it up. It’s a sham. The public are paying money on votes. They don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes.”
Lawyers for the show are said to be trying to get her released from the management contract and have the single removed from sale. X Factor bosses said: “We are looking into this. We had a similar situation with Katie Waissel and were able to get her out of the deal.”
Priestley added: “I’m disappointed. I put a lot of time and effort into her.”
