JLS have announced that they are launching their own safe sex-promoting charity the JLS Foundation.

They will launch their own condom range Just Love Safe,  available in the JLS colours of red, blue, green and yellow, each box also features one of the band member’s faces.

Jonathan ‘JB’ Gill told The Sun that the initiative allows them to use their ‘celebrity status’ to give something back.

“It’s really a chance for us to tackle some of the issues which we feel are pertinent within our society and use our influence and our status as role models to help change and help influence some of the behaviour that’s going on in our society at the moment,” he said.

They also called on Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell to get involved in the campaign.

“We absolutely encourage anybody that wants to help promote this message, so if Cheryl wants to come along and help promote this message,” Ortisé Williams said. “Or Simon. The more the merrier!”

He added: “Mr Simon Cowell, we’re here promoting safe sex, Just Love Safe, join forces with us… give us a call today!”

OK, the idea of promoting safe sex is obviously great, but why the need to have their faces on the box! That is just weird, cheesy and over the top!……I wonder if each box represents a different size?
