DAPPY BLACKLISTED AS A PROBLEM TENANT!
DAPPY has been ordered to pay £5,000 for damage to a posh flat he rented and has also been blacklisted as a problem tenant!
Apparently Dappy left the rented penthouse in London’s Canary Wharf in tatters. He lots of late-night parties which saw furniture and doors ruined, graffiti on walls, work surfaces damaged and plasterwork holed. Light fittings were cracked, a toilet blocked and abandoned food left to rot, stinking out the kitchen.
The pad – which cost £2,000 a month to rent – has had to be professionally cleaned TWICE. As a result Dappy has been blacklisted as a “problem tenant” by property agents in the area.
A source said the bill could rise further and added: “He is obviously of the mindset that if he doesn’t own it, he can treat it as he likes. There is no way they are allowing him to get away with it. There’s too much damage.
“Usually these properties are let to City gents and women who treat them with respect. The worst they have to deal with is a broken glass – nothing like this kind of havoc.”
Dappy, real name Dino Contostavlos, has now moved to Camden, North London, to live near his mum. Last night he accepted the damage had been done and added: “I’ve moved out and am concentrating on the new album.”
He has had a series of run-ins with authority but vowed to clean up his act after finding out his long-term girlfriend Kaye Vassell is pregnant with their second child.
