, however, I do find that when I push on trguohh and get something down, even if it is crap, I am better off (course, then again, I’m not married:-). Knowing what doesn’t work is better than not knowing anything at all. Lots of times I’ll know in big general terms what I want to have happen in a scene, but actually writing the words that describe it is hard. I find it easier to fix a mess than to conjure up the words in the first place. In other words, revising is a lot easier for me than drafting.A routine is good, but the problem for me is that my slot of time has to be fairly long for me to be effective. It takes me at least an hour of reading back over what I wrote last time to enter back into my fictional world. I need that to be able to hear my characters talk and figure out what they think and how they act. And any little nudge from the outside world can easily distract me and make that imaginary world recede. Then it’s a big effort to rebuild it. I need at least a 2-3 hour block of uninterrupted time. When I can have 9-12 hours, I can really cook. The most I ever managed to write in one 18 hour block was just over 6,000 words. In my 2-3 hour chunks, I’m lucky to get 400 words. Unfortunately, it’s tough to get those big blocks of time. I got a lot done this weekend by not grading papers, but now I’m swamped today and I may not be able to do any writing at all. It’s always a trade-off because there are only so many hours in the day, and only so much energy in the body.CK

It think she did great. She definately made the show feel freeshr. I wouldn’t worry Rachel the papers have made something out of nothing and just made a story out of some bitchy posts on digital spy etc. Just as many people if not more like her than hate her.
