Ok so the MOBO Awards has come and gone!!! Yes I am a bit late, but I thought I would add my two pence anyway!!!

This years MOBO Awards has been titled as a big FLOP by some critics for being extremely unrealistic ( Chipmunk winning over Drake for best Hip-Hop Act) and tooooo UK and low budget ( no big names)!!!!!!!! Gosh, the MOBO Awards can never satisfy the British public can they??? First they say that the MOBO Awards  is too American and now it’s too UK???

I was actually glad that Chipmunk won best hip-hop artist ( although it os obvious that he may not be on the same status as Drake), at least it gives him and all the other winning  acts some more exposure (even Gracious K  and Egypt got a look in, although singing around the tables  was a bit random!!).

BROWN-EYEZ view on the acts!!

Reggie Yates-  Wicked sense of humour, loved  his laid back cool style!

Keri Hilson -  She was ok, did the job.

Peter Andre  – Just couldn’t take him seriously for some reason, I just kept seeing him as a broken hearted softy.

N-Dubz –Good performance with Flawless

JLS – Need to sort out their dance moves and get Ortise Williams to speak to his stylist!!!!

Tinchy Stryder – Good, but could of worked the stage a bit better.

Chipmunk – Loved the all black outfit!

Jermaine Jackson  – Mr Plasticine!!!!

Kelly Rowland – Not sure about that glittery dress and that premium now romance curl weave she was rocking!!!

Diversity – Polished!

DJ Ironik – I cant even remember the performance, sorry!!

Young Soul Rebels– Bashy never misses a moment to wear that Bish Bash Bosh t-shirt!!!

OK, so maybe it wasn’t as entertaining as the previous years when they had Dru Hill and Destiny’s Child, but this years MOBO Awards was definitely a good look for the UK music scene!!
